If you call JEGS. they have 2 gauge piller units. they are not in the catolog. You have to ask for them. I like them in both my first gens. I have manual trans in both of mine. I have the pyrometer on the bottem. that is most important. than boost on top, its mostly for fun.

As far as I know, Banks is the only one that has a dash pod that fits our trucks. I'm not impressed either, but they treated me well, and provided what I couldn't get elsewhere.

Does anybody now what's invlolved in getting a part molded and fabricated? If I had more info, I could make some different models with a a different amount of gauges. I'm afraid to find out what the initial 'setup' price for the mold is. Prolly in the thousands

I might be worth a couple thousands of dollars. Never know, It could make you millions. Someone needs to make a 3-gauge pod.

The problem with a 3 gauge pod in 1st gens is the top gauge will be hard to see because of the angle and hight of setting. You would almost have to angle it more downward to see the face of it.

My installed pillar double pod w/single installed 0n top looks great, it's semetrical, at a glance you would think it is a triple pod. I am tall so the upper gauge is an easy read. I think even a shorter person wouldn't have
any trouble reading it as well. I don't know how to attach a pic or whether
I can do it on this site?

I have a 3 gauge pod i got about 2-3 years ago, i think it came from TST, but i really cannot remember. It is a dash mount version though. It goes on top of the dash and is mounted in the center. It is customized for the dodge dash. Cables run down the dash but you could drill a hole for them. I will try to post a pic later.

I bought my gauge pod and a pyro at the same time from Banks a few years ago when I bought my exhaust; I am going to soon replace it with an Autometer so they all match.
They actually gave me the pod for FREE because I got the exhaust and gauge.
From all of the stuff I have bought from Banks, I have had nothing but good experiences.
Last year my exhaust cracked where it goes over the rear axle, I took it to the shop and I had a new one within an hour replaced for FREE.
I live about 5 miles from the Banks Engineering in Azusa California.

ADP/BECS that is a Bosch repair shop also sells the gauge pods but I do not know for how much.

Alright, I got ahold of Jeff at US Gear/800-874-3271. They were busy so he had to call me back, the next day(?) but he did. $47.00 for base and gauge cluster with loom for wires and tubing. It's on it's way UPS ground.

THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE THAT HAS ANY IN STOCK.

I ask if he had a lot or just a few. Jeff said that they had many more than they would ever sell.
If you want a pod for a 1st gen then this is the place.

A big thank you to bgilbert.
