1st Gen. Delivery Valves?

Is there a difference between Intercooled and Non-IC delivery valves? I though I read somwhere that the Non-IC's were different or better or something. And if not is there anywhere to get better than stock IC delivery valves? Thanks.

Well, I have a non-ic pump that was swapped out for a P-Pump last spring. Just thought that while my engine is out, if they were better, I would just swap them. But this can be done, putting non-ic dv's in an ic pump, right? Thanks for the info.

i think the ic dvs are better but i have no hard proof, i belive there better because they are shorter and have less restriction in them, they are interchangable

i dont thik many people have experince with the stuff, there not like p pumps, your not going to get any realy power out of switching to non ic or ic or even custom ones, like i said before, i like the ic ones better because there shorter and because theres less crap inside of them

maby you should ask the question on 1stgen.org, kta hangs out there and a few other guys that might know the answer might be able to help you there

There is a guy on comD that swapped to some big DV's on a 1stgen. He started a thread there about loping idle. You might try PM'ing him for any info. I believe that DV's can be modded but my knowledge level there is as plentiful as the research done in VE DV's, 0%. LOL ... sorry I can't be of anymore help than that.

The people I have talked to said there are other, more viable options to increase the power output from a VE. In other words, they arent as limiting as they are in the P7100.

The delivery valves are interchangeable- I ran a nonIC pump on my 92 for a while. FWIW- the part that sticks out and attaches to the injector line is actually the delivery valve holder; the DV is actually inside that.

You will need 6 new sealing washers for the swap, available in the DGK121 kit for ~$20-25.
