Thanks Tman, I just wanted to see if I could make it work. Naturally after the first try I would do a couple things in a different order.

Things like this wouldn't be as much fun if they were too easy

there are a couple little things to get but the parts spree is pretty much over I assembled the turbo aside from the turbine housing because I have to do some work on the down pipe to make it fit right. And every time i make a trial fit the I can just mount the housing instead of wrestling the whole turbo.
But I haven't got there yet.

today I adjusted the valves and got the top off the injection pump to install the 366 spring and the top hat spring flew away. At least i found the other two parts. Oh well. tomorrow is another day.

I also ordered the spring for my lift pump from Fastenel. It should be here Monday.

I ended up painting the valve covers I was going to polish because the ones on the truck were way better so those will get polished. I don't even know why I am doing that

While I have the plate that the throttle cable mounts to off I will replace the fuel heater O-ring.

366 governor spring installed and O-ring on fuel heater replaced. next on the list is the piston lift pump. the lower pressure regulator spring is supposed to be in today. The left hand thread Hiem joint for the throttle link is supposed to be here Thursday.
