Looks like I got my Jeep sold. Should be able to start picking up parts for my truck in a couple weeks. made a deal with a buddy that will clean it back up and finish some of the things I never got around to. And at least I know it won't get hammered to death.

I am already happier and ready to start working on the truck. It has been hard to get anything done around the shop since My father retired. He has this tendency to think I am supposed to build my stuff his way and gets mad when I don't. Takes the fun out of building things

Sounds like your dad could use a 32 year younger than him girlfriend like my dad found...
I hardly ever hear from my dad anymore, unless something is not working right. He has his hands full I would guess.

Mark, it would be good for both of us to get a little progress done on our Dodge projects.

Ya know I haven't shot my AR yet. For all I know it fires backwards I probably should do that before it is illegal here. If Newsom gets selected governor all centerfires may well become illegal.

First package showed up today. the Hella E-code headlight conversion. 3 more supposed to be here tomorrow(rock auto). then one Friday, Monday and Tuesday. I haven't heard from the electrical depot (Headlight relays) yet and Power line Industrys should have the parts shipped for my LPHV lift pump swap the middle of next week. Now all I need is some sunny weather
Let the fun begin

I want to see $900 worth of pics, brother, of installs. Does all this mean, that your truck is now worth $900 more, if sold? LOL

I may have to invest in another Autometer Z series pyrometer. My needle started acting up, with the headlight switch turned on. If I turn the switch off, function is normal. Think I got cursed when the topics of headlight switches came about, and I mentioned I did the safety precaution with the Jim Layne relay upgrades!
What's weird, is my 5 other Autometer Gage's all function normal with the lights on.
That gage is only about 10 years old. I'm gonna hate buying another one if it turns out to be faulty, as the prices for those have gone way up.
So far, I haven't heard you mention gage's, Mark. Are you already set up with the two basic ones, boost and pyro?
Won't be long, now. Next time we do lunch(on me this time) your gonna be stylin' in that rig finally. We'll have to do burn outs at the local Home Depot and do a 1/4 mile race down highway 49, LOL. For pinks!

It is probably only worth $9 more with deprecation

Sounds like maybe your pyrometer may have a bad ground.
I have an old banks four gauge pod with guages marked RW products. tach, manifold pressure, pyro and a oil temp gauge that needs a sender. when I get around to getting a sender it will go in the tranny. I bought the guages new in the box ninteen years ago from a guy that wrecked his first gen before he got them installed.

Hopefully about the time I get this round of parts on My buddy will have paid the Jeep off and I can pick up the tires and wheels.
