ok having some real trouble here maybe one of you can help a fellow out. My blinker switch hazards were shorting my brake lights out. Removed blinker seitch but can only find with out tilt blinker switch replacement. Theres a big difference from what im seeing between the tilt and non tilt. anyone know where i can get a non tilt blinker switch used or new, and or if i were to use the tilt blinker switch how exactly would i install because it doesnt even look like it will fit in the steering column housing. ive found one replacement non tilt blinker switch after looking for hours and that joker wants $499. please someone help i want to drive my truck again

Ok quick question, when i turn my lights on in my truck they all come on. blinkers work when initiated, i have no flashers or no brake lights. could it possibly be the hazard relay or fuse which ever it is calles?
The quickest and least expensive path to a repair is correct diagnostics. A new, expensive multifunction switch won't fix a short to frame, or a bad flasher, fuse, or lamp socket. Replacing a smoked multifunction switch without finding out why it smoked can also get very frustrating and expensive.
