Yes, it is just 4 bolts. It won't just slide off, there will be a lot of hammering and cussing involved. $150 is fair for a new 16 cm housing.

Only beat on the old turbine housing. Make sure that it comes off square or you'll destroy the turbine wheel. You will have to beat on it with big hammers for about 20 minutes before it starts moving.

You were planning to take the turbo off the truck, right?

On a '93 it's not a real big deal. The 18.5 cm housing isn't that bad. If you want a dramatic change get a 12 cm wastegated housing off a 2nd gen, or even the whole turbo.

It should be an 18.5 cm on your '93. To check, get a flashlight and a mirror and look on the back of the housing. If it's a 21 cm there will be a big "21" cast in it, if it's an 18.5, there will be an "18" cast in it.

It's on the side facing the firewall. You pretty much have to stand on your head to see it. A flashlight and a mirror help.

4 bolts yes, but if they look like mine, it's going to be a BIG pain to get it off. From the looks on mine, I'll bet they all snap off and I'll have to drill them out.
Yuck.
