12 inch clutch
#16
Was the 92 a magnum motor. ? Because on of the problems I'm having is the the magnums are balanced different then the older small blocks. My current set up I'm installing is a diesel NV 4500 with a gas 10 spline input shaft . That's what Laurie said at High Impact .The place I got the nv4500 from for the conversion im ATTEMPTING. Thanks for any help it's very much appreciated .
I've got it all figured out .( I hope ) to use a 11 in centerforce clutch kit , but was wondering if there was a flywheel out there that would work with a bigger ( 12 inch ) clutch ? I know there are older flywheels that except the 12 inch clutch ( I use to have a truck with one ) what I don't know ( for sure ) is will it fit in my bellhousing ? And would the teeth count be rite ?

I just took a 92 SnoCommander apart . 360 , NV 4500 . It had a 12 inch clutch . But it had a weird input 1 in 26 (?) spline . You are working on a later than 92 Engine ? If so I don’t have any idea if it work .

What I can tell you is the 360 didn't get the magnum treatment until 93. The 318 was in 92. I've got a 93 5.2 magnum going into my 74 crew with a 97 NV4500 from a 5.9 gas truck. I bought the flywheel from Rock Auto. If you go to their site and look for flywheels and clutches you can get size and spline information there. What you have to match on the flywheel is the tooth count for the bell housing you are using. That is going to determine whether the starter will engage it.
