12 inch clutch
Is there a flywheel that will except a 12 inch clutch for my 91 w250 5.9 gas np 435 transmission. I've been told that the magnum engines flywheels excerpts 12 inch clutches but they are balanced different the my LA 360 in my 91.

Magnum and LA flywheels are balanced differentially.
The LA 360 are not internally balanced and rely on the flywheel for final balancing.
The LA 360's flywheels have three holes a bit smaller than the size of a quarter drilled partially into the back of the flywheels.

If I had that question, I would got to a clutch / flywheel manufactures website and check it out.
South Bend clutch for diesel truck knows their stuff and sells clutch and flywheels as a matched set.
Or maybe ask on one of the forums that deals with Gassers more.
I can not remember the size of the clutch I put on my '72 Power Wagon about 20 year ago off the top of my head.

The interwebs are a heck of good tool. If you know how to approach it correctly
Pretty sure I had an 11 inch clutch in my 76 W100 with a spark impaired ignition small block.

I put a 13 inch clutch and pressure plate from Rock Auto in my truck when I replaced the trans. I also replaced the flywheel. I wish I had thought of it and replaced the rear main seal. It doesn't leak though. The clutch is really smooth and actually requires less pressure to depress the pedal. Doesn't slip though I haven't pulled anything heavy with it. The clutch came with a new throwout bearing also.

I just had a 92 apart with an NV 4500 it was 12 in clutch . My 79 that was a 360 , with a 435 was a 12 in also but it was drilled for an 11 in also. You may look closely at your flywheel for dual pattern drilling . I did not know 12 in clutch was hard to locate on a gasser . I tossed a couple of flywheels in the scrap that were still very usable .

I guess I don't know how to approach it correctly , the reason I went to the diesel forums was because I had problems figuring out how to login , now that I have finally managed to login correctly to this site I will try to get on to one that is more towards answering GASSER questions , but thanks for you taking the time to answer my questions

I just googled Dodge 318 12 in. Clutch . First thing that popped up was AutoZone , 12in 1 in x 23 spline , diaphragm cover and throw out bearing kit . I used the Borg and Beck style in mine . That means nothing the 12 in clutch is there I have installed a few .

RamCharger Central may offer you more specific answers when it comes to the gas engine stuff. The forums are not as busy as this one, so it may take a little while for a reply.
Anyways, good luck.

Was the 92 a magnum motor. ? Because on of the problems I'm having is the the magnums are balanced different then the older small blocks. My current set up I'm installing is a diesel NV 4500 with a gas 10 spline input shaft . That's what Laurie said at High Impact .The place I got the nv4500 from for the conversion im ATTEMPTING. Thanks for any help it's very much appreciated .
