If you are out of adjustment on the rod between the two cub cadet tie rod ends on the pump throttle shaft lever, move the one on the lever to the hole closer to the shaft.

You can also pull the slack in your throttle cable into the cab and put a couple small zip ties on the cable for a spacer.

With good tune (and linkage) it should just be leaning into the load good at 75.

Ok well now she pulls hard in 1 2 3 and I can pull 75 mph in 4th. Now with that being said is there any way to tell if the gov. Spring has been replace without pulling the pump head off or putting a tach on.

NO, you need a tach anyway.

75 is at or slightly below what you'd expect stock 2500.

If you have a boost gauge, you can watch it while you've got your foot in it. When you approach 2,500RPM, see if boost drops off a little. Not an accurate way to tell but could give you an idea.

your not getting more RPMS hence the top speed is the same. you're just lot stronger now getting to top. The governor limits RPM thus overall top speed. assuming you have 3.54 and Normal size tires once the spring is installed and the replace your worn factory linkage with new link and metal ends your top speed will be 110+ like mine.
