basically where is this fuel shut off selanoid?

the relay for the solenoid is under the cowl and above the fuel filter canister, its hidden so you will need to dig through the wire loom. if thats the problem I replaced mine with a PAC brand 80amp relay/solenoid similar to a Ford starter solenoid..

so i looked before i got your diagrams but i didnt find it which way do you pull that plunger to get it to start?

When the plunger is up, the fuel is on, when it is down, the fuel is off. Since it is a solenoid, it retracts(up) when you start it.

Before you go buying parts, look at the positive post on your drivers side battery, there is a blue wire which is a 16 gauge fusible link. It will sometimes burn up which is what mine did, I thought that my relay or solenoid was out but it was just that wire. Its an easy free place to start.
