Too bad the timing indicator won't work on my motorhome. #1 cylinder plunger is under the floor boards .
Borrowed the barring tool when changing the P pump on the motorhome made that part easy.

I'm jealous...I want a set!!
I'm thinking about ordering that set soon. For the price of getting your timing set by a shop, might as well get it.
Does it include the barring tool?

No, the barring tool is seperate.
Snap-On #s:
SP500 Set, Diesel Timing Gauge
M3584 Compression adapter
YA9565A Engine turning tool
SP144 injection pump wrench

All the shops I talked too only set timing to factory specs, not what I want and easy enough for me to do that!

What is the compression adapter for?
Can you make the adjustments without the injection pump wrench?

Compression adapter is for cylinder compression tests. I already have a diesel compression gauge and adapter for 6.2/6.5 engines and figured I'd get the one for the CTD also.

Yes you can do the timing without the wrench. I swapped a p-pump without it but figured I might as well get it. It should make getting at the backside nuts easier, I hope. It was a PITA on my motorhome.
