Timing housings new for $130

I've been looking for a housing for my 97 that was killed by the KDP for months on Ebay and car-parts.com. I watched used ones go for over $300 on Ebay. I actually bought 2 used ones that turned out to be the wrong ones. Finally I found several new ones on Ebay being sold by Car City for $130 new. I bought one and just received it today and it is the right one. There are 2 posted right now as I speak. They also have other new Cummins parts as well. Check it out right now, don't lose out on this.

No need for a new dowel pin if the old one is still there.
Which brings up the question why replace the case unless the pin came out and damaged the old one?
If the pin did come out you definitely need a new one.

Here's the pin part # through Dodge...04429257. I have all the gaskets, seals, etc., and finally the housing. I just need to get that rebuild kit for my vacuum pump yet. It's a lot easier to get to with the housing off. Don't forget the chunk of metal to hold the new pin in. Hopefully I'll be starting to put mine back together in the next few weeks. Check out the guy that I got the housing from, I see he has some of the gaskets. Cummins is cheaper than Dodge on most of the parts. I wish I would have thought about that before I bought all these Dodge parts. Ah well, that's how we learn.
