There is on downside at all go straight you wont regret it. If it is too loud just find someone with a 24v straight piped and yours will be quieter

Eric, the 215's made a little difference. More smoke and tire spin when stomping the go pedal, also more TC slippage when towing . Piers told me with the plate I have all the way forward and other changes, I should be putting out approximately 250 hp and 675 ft of torque. Can't really do any power increases until I upgrade the tranny, plan on doing that around 200k.

Others, the straight pipe noise isn't the problem I have, it was the drone. Maybe with 4 or 5 inch stacks and 4 inch downpipe, the drone wouldn't be an issue.

I have posted this before, when I cut the last bend from the tailpipe and went straight back at an angle, the drone and in cab exhaust went almost completely away. The drone was completely gone and you have to listen to hear the exhaust over the air intake sound and turbo.

Straight pipe was a little too much for me. Walker recently came out with a straight-through muffler about 7" diameter and 10" long, 4" in and out, just enough to take the bark out of it. Sounds nice.

Im 23 and love loud pipes, love making people look and stare. I have looked up and down, high and low, but cannot find anyone or anyplace that has exhaust pipe or any pope for that matter, with a 3" I.D. It must not exist. Does anyone have a link to someplace I can order a 6 foot piece to drop my cat and muffler? Any help would be great!!!

Buying a stick of tubing costs darn near as much as you can get it done for and you really need the hangers welded on for a good job. On mine a stick was $40 and the job was $68 hangers clamps and all. That was with no pipes cut, I could unbolt and put it back together any time.
