replacement fan

a friend of mine hit a cow last week in his 94. I offered to help him locate the parts and fix it for him. we found all the parts except the fan. I even called two separate dealerships, both said the same thing: dodge discontinued them!
the only aftermarket fans I could find were electric conversions and he tows way to much to consider that option.
any ideas?

Rich

Before climate change when it used to get cold here I used to remove my fan in the winter.
One thing I found out the hard way is if you store the fan flat oil can leak out of the clutch.
Beware...

west of the cascades we never get cold, maybe down into the teens once per winter. Last December was CRAZY, full week of single digits!

58°F here this morning, forecast low of 38°.
Arctic air doesn't cross over the continental divide to the west side of Montana like it used to.

Rogg,
Glad you have a line on a fan!

It has been cold here as well.
My '95 12V was a little grumpy today starting in the -35F temps, as it has not been over -15F in 36 hrs.
The diesel anti gel treatment bottle still in my bed, that was half full from me using it before the cold snap, was full of slush like liquid.
She was down on fuel pressure for a bit, then she warmed up idling away.
I though I was going to have to play the frozen fuel filter in the snowy driveway game!
