I'm a new member - I have a 2006 Dodge 2500 diesel and in the process of installing a new fan hub bearing. The question I have is does the retainer/bushing that goes on the back of the hub seat on the hub or the bearing? The original bearing completely blew up so I couldn't tell how it was installed with the retainer.
