If the AFC isn't slid full forward, that will not allow full fuel either. I would suggest getting dirty and see what was done.

I put a 10plate in my 1995 Diesel and marked and set it where the stock plate sat. I did change the valve for the boost line with the one in the kit I bought. I get 36 lbs boost from it now and a lot more power for sure.I thought a 10tp will give 300 hp in the stock position and 400 hp slide ahead? I towed my Golden Falcon last weekend and got 15.96 mpg for the trip and I think that is great for a 8600 lb fiver behind my Ram.

You had better have a pryo to tell you what temps you will be making. The 10plate in my ram was awsom towing fro me .I just set the cruse and enjoy the ride.

Had lost power steering last weekend and drove 40 miles till I got to where I could fix the problem. The truck was a beast to steer with the fiver on and keep it on the road.Seems the line got loose on the pump and backed itself out. I used plummers tape and put the line back on and had power steering again. But that was not all that happened lol. I broke the exhaust (4") just in front of the muffler hauling the fiver.Man was it loud with no exhaust going in the muffler. So $1100 later For duals 409 stainless will arrive here in three weeks mrbp.

ya i know about loud exhaust. i have daul 5" stacks behind the cab (quad) the 90 turns right in frount of the cat. so no muffler. last year the cat was so pluged that i got 170hp on the dino test. so i punched the cat got 215hp, just by punching cat. but im basicly runing straight pipe. its so loud that in the cab windows up you cant talk on the phone if im over 1200 rpm. im thinking i need a muffler to take the place of cat.

Running without a plate is ok as long as you have a pyro and don't mind staring at it all the time if the truck has a load on it.
Controlling egts with your foot gets old fast if you're working the truck.
If you're just racing an empty truck between stop lights no big deal.
