OK first off in anybody is in the Laramie, WY area and has a shop, oh man would you be my hero.
A couple days ago I had my pickup gel up on me and it wasnt too bad I just had to spend forever priming it and messing with the filter.
Then after I got that fixed I took it on a drive so that I could get the power service to circulate through. I ended up driving 20 or so miles and everything was working great (except for I think I got some snow sucked into my heating system and it made a shitload of fog in the cab) anyway I was driving back to the house when all of a sudden it died and I mean died, no sputtering or stumbling, just instant death. I managed to get turned onto a side street before it stopped and out of the way.
I thought it might have gelled again but that didnt make any sense to me.
so I went back and checked and I am pretty sure that my fuel selenoid got burned out so I ziptied that up and was trying to pime it when the stick I was using slipped off the button and sounded like a crack and fuel started leaking out. is this just a seal I can replace or no? or is it the whole lift pump
also it seemed like the the starter was turning over weaker to me.

I was wondering how exactly this type of a deal should be handled and what kind of a dollar amount I am looking at for parts and labor if I pay someone.
Any help here is much appreciated and on a side note this is the first problem that I have had with this pickup since I bought it a year ago.
