multi-function hi/lo and wiper switches
multi-function hi/lo and wiper switches
All,
As I put together my dash, I keep running into electrical gremlins.
The newest ones are that I am able to pull the arm back of the combination switch to the hi beam, but it will not stay on hi. the second issue is that the wipers will not turn on. I've switched out the combo switch apparatus thinking it was this cheap part, but the same result.
All of the fuses are intact, so I'm stuck. Any ideas where to go next to diagnose this? Should I look at the relays?

Yeah, that might be helpful. It's a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500. I converted it from Auto to an NV4500. I've worked out most bugs except A/C, hi/lo, wipers, and headliner "info-center". I had to completely remove interior and dash down to just the harness. I suspect there may be fractured wires in places. I hate to take it apart again, but want to get this thing done!
