I recently purchased a 95' 12 valve, I am going to adjust the bands in the trans but not sure exactly which I have. I have searched by the # but cant find anything. I believe its a 47rh but need to know for sure.

should be a 47 rh

 

Is there any way to verify? It list the 46rh on the band adjustment as a possibilty in the truck.

 

call your local dealer with the vin number they will be able to tell you what trans came in the truck from the factory

 

Did you check on the underside of the hood? There should be a build decal with transmission, transfercase, gear ratio, etc. information. Mine has it. The 94 and 95 have the 47RH.
