Anyone know the thread and pitch of the 3 bolts that secure the fuel shutdown solenoid to the AFC housing? I tried taking the one I have to the hardware store and thought it was a 6mm x 1.0 pitch 25mm but the ones I bought do not thread into the holes right...

 

Anyone at least know of they use metric/standard on most threads?

They are metric, 6mm sounds right, thread pitch I can't remember off hand. If they were missing, the holes might have got oblonged from the bolts working around while loose.

 

I think you were on the right track, they're definelty M6 screws. I'm looking online and the only pitch readily available is M6x1.0. My buddy is into motorcycles and ATVs, and he had a bunch of these screws laying around (Honda case bolts). We were able to fix your old truck in no time
