Fuel Shutdown Solenoid help
I just replaced my Fuel Shutdown Solenoid, its working properly when you test it by hand, it stays in the up position. But when you start it normally it wont suck it up. Im gettin 12V from one side of the relay, but the other side shows 8V, is that right? or should it be 12 also? It also says it should be adjusted to 2.64in, can it be adjusted any shorter than that?

Thanks

Re:Fuel Shutdown Solenoid help
Yeah I checked that, everything is clean. I was thinking maybe it needed to be adjusted shorter than the 2.64in? But I didnt want to put it shorter than the book said?

Check your relay and check the blue wire coming off your battery (there is also a fuse inside that wire you should check).

2.64 inches should be right. Mine is set at that.

I don't remember the voltage ratings on the wires
