98 12valve..mod the truck or just sell stock?

well i bought a 98 12valve 4x4 5speed 3/4ton silver mint conditon with 157000kms i was gonna build it up and keep it for my self and race it but now i really want a sled as winter is coming but cant afford one so im considering selling the 12valve but dont kno if i should mod it and try sell it for more or should i just leave it stock..scared if i mod it i might just like the thing and have to keep it and get another loan for the sled

If it's a REALLY nice truck I'd be inclined to keep it.

Buddy has a 91 that sort of fell down around the Cummins which was still running GREAT.

4x4 may not have the same front end issues.

I can only speak for my self but. the main reason i bougth a new truck is i did not want one some one else and messed with. if i could have found a stock 05 or 06 i would have went that way a lot cheaper. but seams that most people mod them as soon as they get them. if your going to sell it i say leave it stock.

It seems that you never get your money back from modifications.

dont get the sled... you will be very happy with the investment you made on that truck. Stick with that. youll just have to wait a while before you can ge a sled too. remember you cant always have everything.

Definitely don't mod it just to sell it better. You will lose that money plus maybe more even.

if your mind is made up to sell, then sell it without putting more money into it, as it'll probably not net you a larger return.

sell it stock, people like to find those un modded trucks so they know its had a somewhat less fueled life, lol.
