98 12V started, ran a minute, and died
Hello-
Fired up the '98 this morning after it's been sitting outside for 3 months. Started right up, ran fine for about a minute at about 750 rpm, then started to idle slower and died. Need some advice on what to check. ?? I don't think it's gelled-it was 70 degrees here 2 days ago, and 35 this morning. Thanks for any help!

Yep, you have air in the fuel line, you just burnt off the diesel in the pump, check your fuel line behind the filter, you may find a crack in it or some type of air leak, you will need to manual pump the fuel from the tank to the pump with the lift pump primer button. Good luck

Thanks guys for your responses! That's exactly what was wrong--my husband used the primer button to get the fuel back up there and it started up and runs fine. Now if I could just afford to BUY some fuel for it. . .
