.OK so here's my issue.My 99 has a fass fuel pump totally different than the 97 so I can not use it for a reference. So the guy I bought my 97 from installed one of those Holley blue pumps I'd rather go back to Mechanical but that's not going to happen right now. My fuel filter housing seems to be leaking quite a bit for a little time now. So I want to go with different setup. I've seen those cat filters and similar looking ones. But I have no idea how do I hook one up what I have to pull out of the truck Etc.I don't know which one that I need that will work with my fuel pump Geno's garage as the 94 to 96 replacement fuel filter housing.So Idk if I should get one from Gino's what I should get if someone help me out and point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I have swapped a '97 12v truck I owned to the earlier '94-'96 spin on filter before.
I don't really like the later style filter housing myself.

 

I'd like to go with a filter I can mount on the frame just not sure how to do away with all of the old junk to the housing
