MY filter drain went bad and is leaking Air, does anyone know were I can buy a new one? . dealer said no longer available or if someone has a Cummins part # for it.

not the cheapest option, but I replaced mine with a primeloc kit.

No, the 97's have an aluminum canister for the filter holder. I would try a cummins dealer of any sort, Freightliner has been good for me locally.

 

According to Cummins Quickserve the part is available. Unfortunately it does not show the part number, but there is a detailed blow-up of the filter assy. In fact it shows everything except the the head and the housing are for sale. FWIW the group number is 06.04 graphic number is ff943gb film card T

 

Isn't there just an o-ring and rubber washer that are replaceable?
Cummins and dealer might not list them as separate parts but I bet you can come up with what you need at a hardware or autoparts store.

 

been there done that cummins parts guy is stumped He said he would contact fleetgaurd to see if there was an option. cant find the right O rings eather

Yup we both looked at that picture too. but ... they don't list a part# for it. but the good news is I was able to find the O rings in a HELP ( after going all over town lookin)package had to buy 2 to get the little fat suckers!
