5th gear slack ?
New to the forum and finding some interesting info.
I have a 98 12v 5spd NV4500 with 108K on it. When running in 5th gear if I let off the gas pedal there is a obvious clunk. This also occurs when applying the gas pedal, but not as pronounced. No other gears have this symptom. Is this an indicator that the nut is backing off the 5th gear?!
Thanks for the help
