Your stock clutch won't like that 0 plate. My 10 plate is killing my stock clutch, it slips with anything over 22psi of boost in 4th and 5th.

If you drive like grandma your stock clutch will last.
But then what's the sense of messing with the plate?

You also have a 215 pump, he has a 175. Big difference.

I'd run the 0 (or remove the plate completely) and see how it fairs. Some clutches will take a beating, others slip right away. Mine slipped as soon as I put a 10 plate in it. A friends '97 didn't slip until he put a 66mm turbo on it and was running 55+ psi of boost.

My clutch only had 60,000 unabused miles on it when I took the plate out and it slipped the first time I floored it in 4th.

Its all about how hard the fuel comes on too. I had a #10 in mine for a long time with the stock clutch and just tuned it to hold. I ran about 330 RWHP before it would give. A 0 plate will be pretty aggressive in the low RPM band and might pop the clutch loose on a hard accell.

Boost is from fuel and combustion. More fuel= more boost. So yes and no.

What do you have for wastegate control?
