What you are seeing is the A/C condensor on the front of your truck. The evaporator is behind the dash of the truck. The evap is silver in color with the cooling fins.

Ebay sells the borg warner kit for the 48re online, comes with solinoid, sensor and the alum. manifold that it all bolts into on the tranny for round $200. Thats spose to be the fix all parts.

I wouldnt think you would have a problem bleeding them without a scan tool. i replaced 1 of my rear calipers not long ago when i did a rear brake job on my 03. Just fill the resivoir up, have a buddy...

It was aftermarket. Advance Auto actully. It was $70ish with old caliper core. Sorry no part # but i called them told them what i had and the looked it up quickly. Easy to replace as well

No there is no need to have that done. He is thinking of the old 12v motors that were common with killer dowel pin fallure. This is not an issue on the third gens.

Well my 03' automatic is at 270,000 with no problems. i run my programmer at its highest setting(but i drive conservitivly) all the time. Its got sum scratches here and there but its in great shape...

Well first of all you are looking at a LOT of money just for the beefed up tranny alone, that will prob run 4k to 6k by itself. Engine mods will prob include a 0 plate with pump work. Big injectors...

Get u a set of 285s or sum 305s, a programmer, and drive conservitivly. I get 19mpg all day long with my 35s and programmer turned all the way up
