TXDTR #8 New Thread for February
Might as well get this started. Not much in the way of warm weather in the near future, but I guess we can start looking at March.
As soon as it warms up enough, and I have time to go up a clean the place up, we should be able to have something at The Ranch.

Well, March might be good. This has definately been a wet and cool winter this year.

Happy for the Saints team, but the city sucks and don't deserve it. Was at the Dallas/Saints game in '08 and saw first hand what a bunch of low-lives their fans are......and it had nothing to do with the game. Maybe their new mayor can stop some of the corruption and restore their tarnished reputation.
Hmmm, rain, then maybe snow, then more rain. Nice forecast.
I guess no more working on projects on the truck until the rain lets up, or I get the garage cleaned out enough to pull the truck back in. Oh well, that means I need to get to work on my ATV and get it fixed up and out of the way. Always something to do...

What's the best material to use for a fuel line into the cab for a mechanical FP gauge? Going to work over a little wiring and going to switch over from my electrical to a mechanical in the process. I'm going to run standard fuel line from my port post-filter over to a junction where I can tap in to bleed air from the system and I'm going to have a needle valve installed there to control flow into the cab. Just want to see what everyone is using to go through the firewall and into the cab. And where the best place to get it is. I've got plenty of regular fuel line for barb fittings with hose clamps, but it's not always the most reliable and I don't want to have to keep getting behind the dash to chase leaks.

we got a couple more inches of snow last night.. . Farmer did not plow our road this morning so it was a white knuckle trip to school this AM. what a mess this snow is. all my pens where my livestock stay are just a muddy soupy mess.
So glad to move back to town next week, that will fix some of my problems..
put new front shocks on the truck, rides a bit better, hope to do rears soon.
I am borrowing one of my Coach's three horse live in quarters GN trailers to take the GF's horse back to her home 400Miles away this weekend.. Tag on the trailer says its 20K GVWR. My guess is with her one horse in the trailer it should weigh about 15K ish ? May stretch the ol dodges legs, Happy my little turbo is QUICK to light.

Everything I've read in last few yrs says regular fuel line but some type of sleeve over it at firewall.
Closed, one way system, so closing the needle valve down 98% works well and avoids gauge rattle and pressure leaks.
Where are you mounting it?
