Man guys.. Seems like it has been a long time... Unfortunately booked up with work/ projects for a good while yet.... Seems I get distracted in the summer with trucks, boats, etc.. and projects get pushed to well... now...

What mischief are you planning with your 12 valve?

It needs to get short and light.. with sticky tires.... Hmmm lazarsmith traction bars.. or lazarsmith 4-link?
... reason for all the dang working lately...

Amy requires the savings acct continues to go at the same rate... So more work required to play! lol

Sounds like the "toying with the idea" has moved forward?? Why a 2wd?
Welcome back! Was beginning to wonder of you survived the H1N1.

I have gone the other way with my truck... decided to retire from racing and dynoing!
After going to the dyno at SpeedTek, I realized just can't compete with 3rd Gens that can get to 600 hp in one afternoon.
Seemed like every young flat belly there had 700+ hp!
It was spectacular and very impressive.... but was also a depressing vp-44 reality check!! Beginning to "get" the P-Pump attraction.
I'll just be happy with my nice running 450 hp daily driver..... unless I get another CTD!

Might not have to get rid of very much ballast... don't think you'd want to go under 6K lbs. (or 10 sec)!

4-link would be better for weight transfer, and it'd be harder to do a 3-link than on a hydroformed frame.

Dang flat-bellied whippersnappers!

Once you go CR, it's hard to go back... now we have EFI Live Cummins to look forward to next season.

Easier gear swaps if the truck likes time on the track, plan on bringing this truck to the ground some, lowered 4wd just sounds weird , I have a 4wd truck already... Burn out box is fun??
Welcome back! Was beginning to wonder of you survived the H1N1. I'm back baby! The H1N1 is no joke... I'm a pretty healthy youngin and that knocked me on my ace

I have gone the other way with my truck... decided to retire from racing and dynoing! 01 wont see the track again... Or a sled... May see a dyno again, curious to the timing increase... Really woke the truck up

Hard accel up an entrance ramp 50psi boost and Laser alarm went off... Snap back on throttle and on the brakes... Every VP lock I ever had flashed before my eyes, P7100 doesn't skip a beat.... Always predictable
I'll just be happy with my nice running 450 hp daily driver..... unless I get another CTD! Hell I run 95% of the time with the valet switch on.. I'm prolly 300-350hp and I'm stil perfectly happy!
Hmm... 10 char

Get you a common rail and you can be a "flat belly" too....

Seriously...I thought you were shopping for one.

Was....AM....Maybe....?? Almost made a move three times but US political enviornment has me scared. Everytime I think Secular Progressives are getting beat, they sneak an end run and pop up again, looking stronger than ever!!
Can't seem to let go of the money, Hope I'm over-reacting. But the problem is, no one else seems to be reacting at all.

Sorry for the rant, but it's as honest an answer as I can give.

AND - Austin looks like a TOM winner!!
over 20% ahead of #2 and only one day left.

I'll believe it when I see it. So far, they're just getting it to read the software flash. Reading it is great, but to make it useful, they have to be able to flash software back into it. The real obstacle is going to be getting around the bootloader software on the '09s and up.

They might have a chance on the older ones, but to really make it worthwhile, they'll have to defeat the bootloader lockout.
