Still plan to be there sat morning as long as nothing goes majorly wrong between now and then.

Then on sunday I plan on yanking my injectors and sending them to DonM to have him rebuild and make into flux 1.5's.

DuallyDog Matt, did I read somewhere that you did the HE351 swap on your truck? I just read ten pages about the swap and it seems like something that would benefit me and my truck. . trying to get performance back after my exhaust swap ( lost about 4psi boost). old exhaust went to the dumpster, all but the down pipe.

Any of you fellers have info?

and this thing called "drive pressure" I do not exactly understand.

hope ya'll have a good and safe race weekend. And Brian, I hope your feeling better.

Yup no Brian... Barely making it through a work day... Dont think a day of inhaling diesel exhaust is in the Dr. Orders...

Hate to miss it... feel like I haven't made an event in a while! Heck with the cool temps I'll have to start thinking about a shop event in the next couple months...

Based on the talk on Competition Diesel.... lots of trucks coming!
Get there early if you want to make "Test & Tune runs. Found out they are not letting anyone run during day (between class events), like some tracks do.
All practice will be before racing starts (at 11, I think). We'll be there 9:30 ish. Come find us!

Will do. Got to get the wife and my baby girl rounded up drop em at my parents and then Ill be there. Wow with that list Ill be lucky to show at all. First trip with the 2 month old. Who knew someone that small would need so much stuff.

Max, yes I did do the swap. It added a lot more top end, but I think it has lost some low end power (a hair of lag, and possibly not as efficient at the lower boost levels). It was pretty straight forward, everything pretty well matches up.

Get well Brian! We will catch you on the next one.

I just got home a little while ago from work and cleaned out the bed of my truck in case I try to make a run or two. (firewood and other debris)

Should be fun, if I can wake up to go! I have to run my truck by a car wash too....it's filthy. We had about 3'' of rain here yesterday....and I can't even remember the last time the truck had been washed previously from all the rain and plain busy ness.....going on with me.

Hope to see yall there.

Had a great time at the races today. Charlie, RJ, Justin, Eli (briefly), Schoolbus, and Austin came from DTR #8. A little chilly.....low 50s most of the day. Sled pull got cancelled due to the saturated ground.

Schoolbus was awesome...running 11.5 times!!

I was thrilled to get the opportunity to run a few times. I made a total of 8 runs.....fastest being 13.277 at 8390 lbs. Pretty good I thought considering my sucky reaction times and the truck being such a heavy pig. Ironically, on that run, I had to pair up against Jim Jones and his slick red duramax....so his 11.2's made me look like I was sitting still.

Charlie and RJ should have some video forthcoming. Thanks guys!

Thanks Mike. My RTs were slower I think than at Redline...I just couldn't get the hang of it at the light today. I don't think I ever got over about 10 lbs of boost.

My slowest time was 13.852 on the first run....at 96.25 mph. I had several in the 13.8 range...and several at 13.3 range. None in the middle. All of my 13.3 runs were in the right lane......with no mph given...because it wasn't working right at the track. It said something like 200mph or so..

Mike...sorry we missed you there! Wish you could have brought the blue beast.

Yup! Good time and nice track. Good # of trucks for first diesel event and a cold, drizzly day.

They are calling it the "Concrete Palace". Great name, and appropriate... concrete everywhere. And cudos on a sound system that you can actually hear and understand from anywhere on the grounds!
'School Bus' won the big prize (and $1,500.00) against Jim Jone's Red Duramax...who red lighted in the finals! Congrats Scott!!
Saw the Dr. Performance's project truck go for the world's record. Did not quite catch it but got close....8.13/144.13! Video to follow later today.
They had a Monster Truck ..... crushing cars and doing donuts!
Sled Pull was cancelled!

NADM is doing a lot better job than the former group ever did..... but still not well organized.
One of these days, maybe a race organizers will let the paying crowd know things like a time schedule for classes ... cancelled events....etc.

Hate I missed it.. Got caught up on some work and sleep though...

Actually toying with the idea of a street/strip truck myslef... 12V, auto, 2wd shortbed, single or extended cab....

Want to find one with lots of miles and completely tear down the motor and start from scratch.... Dreams right now, but been looking for the starter truck off and on...
