That's great RJ considering it wasn't a long trip highway run.

I think my 35'' MTs were costing me about 1 to 2 mpg or so. I guess can live with 17ish mpg out of my 3rd gen 8200lb pig.

I'm sure he would have just said that he was "uploading pics" to something.

There has a handfull of diesels there and I had some fun but my 3rd gear is till giving me a hard time and a few other things but they only gave me 3 passes all nite and one pass my dang tranny aint wanting to shift but anyways it wasn't to bad I still ran a 13.3 so not to didappointed with 180k on that old motor and stock turbo, injectors, etc.the big tires hurt me also

Oh the bright side, at least your flight home is going to be shorter than your flight out there.

On the bright side.....I just finished my 2nd rotation (6 months each) of rookies in a row. So I actually, sort of, get a break until August 5th. Then rotation number 3 comes out of the academy.

Warm is fine. But when it's so hot you can't step outside without breaking a sweat (doing nothing).................even in shorts and tshirt.........much less all the gear I wear everyday...........it is to much. It's just plain to hot to get anything done outside in the yard, wash or work on the truck, or whatever. Plus you gotta dread waiting on the next electric bill and water bill (having to water everything just to keep it alive).

I miss Colorado where the high was 75 degrees all week.....(last month when I went)........and we couldn't climb Pike's Peak past 11K ft because of a SNOW STORM!! That's my kind of weather! Once I retire, I may just move there during June-September and come back and see yall in October.

I thought it was a little warm yesterday, too. When I think that, you know it's hot! Suppose to be 104* today with who knows what for a "feels like". My sis in Round Rock said when got into her car yesterday, the outside temp was 106*......in the shade.
