And I think the Jetta faired pretty well for box truck at highway speeds!! Driver and front passenger looked like they were in great shape!
Hate to say it but the Dodge hasn't been started in over a week now!
(Mainly because it needs somebody to fill the tank!

That's scary! Looks like a really good present to me.

Hmmmm....I may bring the Starcraft camper.............with a "For Sale" sign on it.
I needed a big pry bar to put between the lugs to even turn that thing! It was locked down!
THe nut wasn't too bad to take off... I was sick of those **** thru hub wheel caps by the end of the project though..
1. Break lug nuts
2. jack up truck
3. remove lug nuts and wheel
4. remove center cap
5. Reinstall wheel
6. tighten a few lug nuts
7. place truck on ground
8. bounce on end of 6' pipe until nut breaks loose (curse when pipe hits ground and smashes finger!
)
9. Jack truck back up
10., remove wheel all over again
11. finally get to work on bearing!!!!
12. Repeat 10-1! Stupid thru caps! lol All Ryans fault too!
Kerri said it was making a good bit of noise and getting harder to steer... Ya I bet... It took a few tries (on separate days) to get the truck straight in a parking spot cause the power steering wasn't strong enough to overcome the drag of the bum wheel!!
Ya that could have been bad!
I was impressed at the impressive pile of molten metal shavings that collected on the knuckle!! Wish I would have snapped a pic of those!! It was a good sized clump!

I replaced both wheel bearing assemblys 15,000 miles ago and am again getting an rpm rubbing noise from the drivers side on sharp right hand turns??
Can you think of anything else that would sound like that, cause I can't??
