Rowland you can count me in on the dyno! I'd like to reconfirm my HP number and if possible get a solid torque number. I can do Friday Evening, the later the better. Or Saturday Morning....The later the better. It sounds like we are going to be sitting around most of Saturday anyway, unless we want to go watch tractor pulls.....so I'd prob prefer Saturday.

Is it possible to bring a mobile dyno to Alvarado for the truck guys while the tractor guys are pulling? I'd bet it would generate more entries.

To our JETTA driving members...

This is what is left of my son's 2000 Jetta. Hit by big truck. The car did it's job protecting my son and his 1/2 brother. This happened Wed. night. The front seat back broke to absorb impact as well as the crumple zone. As good a job this little car did of protecting him, he now wants a truck. I can't blame him. Highway speeds.
BE SAFE GUYS! You never know what the "person" behind you is going to do.

This is what hit him.

Holy Moly! I'm glad they are OK.

What is it about your family getting rear ended?

Buck, Looks like Friday night will work. Let us know if you can work it out. Four definite with Big Blue a maybe.
My best guess would be half a dozen min. when the time comes... plus any you have that might be interested??

Speed limit was 65. He was accelerating to pass on the left before he started his turn. Said he did that instead of passing on the shoulder because he felt he did not have the room and would possibly roll the truck. Look at this picture and decide if he had enough room.
My truck is where my son's car was.

The sub box held together. However, we couldn't get it out. We were able to get to the subs and amp and get them out of it. We also managed to get both front door speakers and amp but not the back door speakers. Got his tool box out too.
He feels like he has been whooped...

Glad they're OK!

Car looks like they got off pretty lucky.

Things like that are just 'nother reason I like our big Rams for transportation... so we have a better chance of staying alive when some idiot tries to kill us with their vehicle!

Fade,

Same thing from me! Thank goodness your son survived! I too, feel much more comfortable driving my Ram for the safety it provides. Get him a Cummins powered truck!
