No prob was glad to help! I think the only bearing worse than that is when the tire pops off and passes you by!!

RJ I'd be looking a the fender well to make sure the wind isn't pushing it towards your tire...

Thanks guys, but not a steady rubbing noise. It's a 1/2 sec per revolution kind of scraping noise....like one bearing in a race. Only on rt turns... just like when the original wheel bearing started to go out??

Quack Quack! Speaking of ducks.... I meant to mention to ya'll about my mishap over New Years. I forgot to tell you that I submerged my Kawi Brute Force 750.

We went to Rural Shade RV park about 20 miles se of Corsicana. They have some deep mudholes. I rode through a bunch all day long......well one caught me by surprize and next thing you know im up to my handle bars in water. Machine went blub blub.....and died.

We pulled it out....went to a nearby tree and used the winch to lift the front end up. I got the water out of the airbox and slowly bumped the starter and water was coming out of the exhaust. Tried that a few times, real slow.

Tried to crank it. Nothing. Towed it back to camp....took out the plugs. Turned it over real good. Dried out and reinstalled plugs ( I had no spares) Nothing. Checked the oil....later that night......it was white, milky looking. Definately water in the oil. Alot of water. So im done. And im screwed. At this point im just wondering what kind of damage I have done.

Well here are the pics....

I took it to Sherman Powersports because I knew I was getting in over my head. They took it all apart and surprizingly there was NO damage! Water, crud, moisture, and Rust....what a mess! But no damage. They disassembled the entire engine and cleaned each part, separately, and reassembled. I guess they had to do some work on the valves. And it just needed a few parts that are standard for reassembly, but no "actual" damage. Got it back today and it seems to be running fine as best I can tell. $1300. Expensive lesson but I feel lucky it wasn't more.

Dang, I should have gone to 'Lazarsmith Kawasaki' instead!

Don't worry....I have some other business lined up for you. Lazarlites and Lazarsmith Traction bars! Just waiting on Uncle Sam to give me back SOME of MY money.

No that pic just shows a quad stuck in mud. Mud I don't think will hurt much of anything. What I was in was just plain ole muddy water.....more like this guy.... but even deeper. I goofed up bad...and I paid dearly for it.
