If Mike isn't bringing his trailer down, I can bring mine, if it will work. It is only 83.5" (just shy of 7') from inside pipe rail to inside pipe rail. Never measured the width of my truck.

If Mike's going to pull, you may need both of them!

if its not one thing its another..... ordered the FASS150/95 1008, be here tuesday hopefully installed tuesday as well.

so i look out at my truck (sitting very sad and lonely in my driveway) and notice an oily spot under it, its not motor oil, i look at it almost clear maybe slightly yellow, pinkish. try to sniff it, no smell. so i did the only other thing i new and that was to taste it, TASTED awful... very bitter similar to anti freeze but i dont think it was.

my AC has not worked since october, so when i took it in last week i had them charge it and put die in. and of course they were unable to spot a leak. i was wondering if this is whats on my driveway.

what kind of light do i need to detect there die?

o and the leak is front of the motor near the AC compressor drips from there to my sway bar then to the ground.

this post = venting

Nah...He hasn't got the new clutch yet. He said he definately won't be pulling this go round. I'm sure he will prob bring the GN trailer though.

If he will let me borrow his new Lazarsmith fancy smancy Pull Ring, I might add my name to the list of 1st time Sled pullers though.

I wont forget. As of right now, I plan on making it there on Saturday.
If something comes up and I can't make it, I will get it to Mike to bring down.

I am really hoping to be there. I know I missed out on a good time last year. I will also have my Firestone airbags by then. If I haven't installed them by then, I might do it down there, with Mike's help
I will also have a 2.5 gal. air tank to install and I have my Viair compressor to install too I think I will wait until a meet at a place with a shop to do those. I don't want to work that whole weekend, we want to be able to have fun and watch the events.

Rob,
Are your air bags the one that have to have holes drilled? Not too bad of a job.....at least not on my last century truck.

Also, I'm up for a "mini-meet" before Alvarado if anyone else is up for it.

Hey Charlie,
Yeah, I will have to drill holes. My B/W GN frame rails might interfere, that is where Mike might have something up his sleeve.
I got Firestone Ride Rite P/N 2071. Hope that is the right part. For the 94-98 trucks, Firestone lists 2 part numbers: one if you have factory overloads and one for if you don't. For the 1998-2002, they just list the one (2071).

I don't remember the part # on mine, but I'm sure it's pretty close to the same thing. I don't know why they don't make a kit that goes on the axle.

Nice, I can take a look at an airbag setup on a truck similar to mine. I feel my wallet getting lighter already.

Any chance that's all on a switched ground system? I know plenty of other stuff is.

Charlie,
One might get the impression that you don't like the cold

Oh, an Firestone tech support finally emailed me back and said the P/N 2071 is correct for my '02 with factory overload springs.

You know me and cold weather!

I'm afraid your hitch will be in the way. Maybe Mike can come up with something, or you could drill through the hitch bracket and use longer bolts. Also, do you have the rear wheel well liners? The instructions say to cut them, but I have a thick piece of foam rubber between the bag and the liner to keep it from rubbing.
