Is anybody going to "participate" in anything at Crandall?? I think they are having a Dyno, Sled Pull, and Drags. I'm considering the dyno (with new injectors now) and maybe some drags......but wish'n I had more turbo. (I thought I would by now, but $$$ priorities keep getting in the way)

Considering my setup hasn't changed power wise in a couple of years, not much use in me hitting the rollers. So I'm just going to be a spectator.

count me out.. Have fun snap photos!.

I really want to make it down to NM and get on the same rollers and see how the Flux's, turbo, Dr. P box, exhaust helped me out. I am surely above the previous 446, 1119.

Does anyone have any ideas where to pick up a Schrader valve like the ones used in the stock fuel system? I need one with a male 1/8" NPT fitting on the back. There were a couple included when I bought my fuel pressure test gauge, but they've managed to disappear or stay attached to trucks I've tested over the years.

I think my electric fuel pressure gauge is dying on me. I've been seeing higher than normal pressures lately (20idle, 18 driving, 16 pushing hard) and I don't think my LP got stronger in its old age. Then I noticed this morning that with the engine and LP off, but the key on, I'm seeing about 3psi on the gauge. And I doubt the fuel system is holding pressure.

I just wanted to put my test gauge on it to check the readings when I realized I didn't have any Schrader valves to put into my test port.

Well I dodged a bullet tonight......with my transmission....that is. I was on my way home from work and my trans quit shifting beyond 2nd. I could push the accellerator and nothing......it wouldn't do a thing over about 40-45 mph. It was like it was coasting until it got down below say 35 mph and then it would grab and go again....until 40-45ish, again.

Eventually, I called Rowland to see if he had any tips or had experienced anything like that with his DTT. And I had also called James Northum and left a message.

I limped the truck home in the far right lane of 75 and flashers on at about 40 mph. James called back and after I gave him the codes he thought it might be my "transmission rpm speed sensor". Thankfully, Ghettozone was still open and had the replacement part. I put it in a couple of minutes and it road tested good as new. The old one was cracked. Anyway, thankfully the Black Beast lives on for now.

Thanks Rowland for your input and a big Thankyou to James Northum for diagnosing a quick (AND CHEAP $20.00 part!) fix over the phone.

What is the difference besides the yellow tube and the zinc tube? Looks to me like the same shock except the paint vs the zinc..............

Also, where did you get them?
