It was good to see most of the group again. I wish we could have done more socializing, but several projects were keeping us busy. Hopefully we can do it again sometime soon. Mike has a great set up for DTR get togethers.

Good fire, good food and good friends.....don't get much better that that.
Big thanks to Mike for hosting.
Glad Daniel brought his chain saw and cut a bunch of ceder he brought to The Ranch a couple years ago. Would have been pretty miserable without it!

Great seeing ya'll again. I've been out of the loop for a bit.
However, I need to start wearing blinders as long as Mike is selling parts off of trucks...
But on the bright side, I have a different interior now and my back is MUCH better with the new seat.

Thanks everyone for coming out & helping us celebrate - lots of fun.GTG finally ended last night ~midnight... after-party starts in an hour or so (still have half a Shiner keg chillin')... hey, it's 5 o'clock somewhere!

Next time I'll be able to lower the entropy level.
Had a great time Mike!! Thanks for hosting! Was good to finally meet Dan and others. Big thanks to RJ for picking me up some parts for the 12v. I was able to get everything back together and on the road.
Got my Sirius Antena in... thanks for your help Charlie!
On the newer radios, with 'built in' satilite capability, all the electronics are in or under the dash, so we ran the antena to the hood instead of the rooftop!
The interesting thing is, my previous antenna wire went from the 3rd brake light towards the DRIVERS side of the cab (under the headliner, and than crossed over to the passengers side door piller?? Could not pull it through.... hanging up on the headliner ..... so I just cut it off. But why go left before heading to the right side of the truck??
Also, After hearing Brian's observations on the new Ford vs Duramax vs Cummins, I looked around.
Most interesting fact I found is the Power Stroke 6.7 Diesel only comes with an Automatic tranny??

I thought that GM had gone the same direction and were only using the automatic trans behind the Duramax. Or maybe they still have the 6-sp manual, but no one ever buys it.
So what were the observations? I actually haven't heard anything about the Ford 6.7 lately...
