Do you need me to run out there and check on things? It's not too far across the way from here.

If you're out running around, that would be great. Don't make a special trip, but if you're over that way..........

It'll probably be Saturday before my slanted driveway is navigable.

We have some friends in Van Alstyne, so this might be a good time for us to go check on them as well. They've been stuck at home too with a slanted driveway.

It took 4x4 to get unstuck (moving) on my level driveway!

There have been two campers parked at Wal-Mart since Tuesday.
They have Wisconsin plates, and all pax are wearing Packer parkas.
Just trying to get to Arlington for the festivities! I'm sure they will make the game but they can't be too happy!

I had 7" piled up by my garage door, the actual driveway was 4"-5" deep. I shoveled away all the loose snow, hoping that the underlying 1/2" of ice on the concrete will melt away. A bag of de-icer would handy right about now...

They always laugh at our ability to drive in the snow, but even they know better than to drive on the ice that we never thaw off of the road...

Hey Fox, was down at Ft. Hood in Nov and Dec to meet with the 2-38 Cav, part of the 504 BfSB and show them some new "goodies". Supposed to go to JRTC at Ft. Polk week after next to train them on some stuff. 504 isn't you is it?

I pulled out 4. Two pulling, 2 with my rear winch. The Time Warner Cable truck was the biggest. Pulled him out sideways.

504th aint me. My friend Chris Wallitch is warrant officer over there. I'm in CAV HQ. I like new toys. Being and EWO is cool job!! Next time you are in the area give me a notice. BTW Ft. Plok sucks IMO. One of my soldiers PCS'd there about 9 months ago. Get some crawlfish while youre there.

that's all I hear up here in NE, "your from Texas you can't handle driving in the snow" ....

I just say, "ya, I am used to ice so I am sure I can't "

TX has had worse snow than us so far. we did have -22 the other day. with the 'real feel' temp of -41 ! to cold to snow.

Ole' Red picked a bad day not to start. Got a late call to take the granddaughter to school. Parked in the front due to ice on the driveway and was not plugged in. I've had to do this a couple of times before without a problem. When the heaters didn't take a long time to cycle was the first clue. Started right up, but no FP! I killed it, turned the key on.........and no FASS noise! At 16*, I hope it's just froze up.
