Nice ride! "New" Red is looking pretty good, too.

Glad you made it home to see the family.

Happy New Year everyone!

In the new year try to avoid as many as possible of these Five Universal Laws!
> 1. Law of Mechanical Repair
After your hands become coated with grease,
your nose will begin to itch and you'll have to pee.
2. Law of Gravity -
Any tool, nut, bolt, screw, when dropped, will roll to the least accessible corner.
>3. Law of Probability -
The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of your act
>4. Law of Variation -
If you change lines (or traffic lanes),
the one you were in will always move faster than the one you are in now.
>5. Law of Close Encounters -
The probability of meeting someone you know increases dramatically when you are with someone you don't want to be seen with.

Better you than me! Never have for the very reason you eloquently describe above.
Will that prevent the usual changes in eyesight that come at 45-50 yrs of age...
or will you have to do it all over again?
You near sighted? I understand that condition is the one that gets the best results for the proceedure?

No LASIK here. I figured with all the blasting they would have to do to correct my vision, I might not have any eyes left when they finished.

My eyesight is bad enough that I can't even tell you which wall the eye chart is on if I don't have my contacts/glasses.

No it will not, reading glasses will be required when I do get older. But I figure a large chunk o change now to be glasses free for the next 25 years is a fee I am willing to pay. 25 years from now there will be a new procedure I would imagine. That is true, near sighted folks get the most benefit.

After reading the doctors consent and release forms made me think twice about it that is for sure

Yikes, I can see pretty well with out my glasses at distance and up close it's just hard. I do have slight amblyopia (lazy eye) and this will correct that by making the weak eye 100%. My entire work day I wear non prescription safety glasses and am able to see and do all my tasks it is just hard on my eyes.

Your name means Great Pride - maybe the perps are just jealous?

Must be! Wind ppl in these small towns are either loved or hated, no in between. O well, no real damage. I just need to do some serious scrubbing to get rid of a large image of the male anatomy off the side of my trailer.
