Stephenville January Meet/Possible dyno day.

Thought Id get this kicked off. Im gonna try going to San Antonio for the Jan. 5th (I think thats what they decided on) dyno day. Thats assuming I get this old rig intercooled by then. Anyone else interested in going? As for the local meet, I think itll need to be in the later half of Jan, when everyone is back in town. Maybe well have another exhaust to put in at the meet (Dawson...) Or who knows, maybe even some EDM injectors to throw in ol blue.

Good to have you on board.

Oh, and for our next little exhaust project or whatever Ill have some good tools for our next job. I found some good deals on ebay for 18v cordless sawzall, drill, jigsaw, grinder, and a light...all for around $350. Well worth it for what Ill need.

Not too sure about the dyno, but count me in for the meet at the end of Jan. I should have about 5 gauges to mount by that time also! But I'm up for an exhaust project on Dawsons rig! What are you gonna do to it Dawson?

Oh Randy, I found a HX-40, been rebuilt and looks super nice and clean. I was wondering what you thought of it? Would it be a good investment or not, between that and the stocker I've got? I can pick it up for $400 I could probably sell my stocker for something lol. Well let me know what you think, it's got an adapter on it for a t3 pipe...or something like that lol.

HX40 wouldnt make a big turbo for twins...for a single it would work alright for a budget. Id ask the 2nd gen section for the best turbo. Dont know if Dawsons gonna do exhaust, but I think he's the only one whos thinking bout it that hasnt yet. However, we may have stack to put on my rig.

Well I'm just thinking as a single, and yeah I'm going to look around a little bit and see what others are out there. I was just wondering if it would be an improvement over the stocker I have and handle a little more power or what? lol Cause for $400, that's pretty sweet!

Yeah, you gonna do a single? That's the way to go! I love mine....well what I have driven it anyway lol, we'll see what's up tomorrow and Tuesday as far as my truck goes and will keep ya'll updated!!!

White250005 -- Sure, pm it to me.

Jordan, that one you found, does it have the 19cm housing? If so, I dont think youd want it...itd be a pain to spool. I looked at one that had the adaptor and that huge housing for $400.

Sounds great. Shoot, who wouldnt mind driving to Denton? I would...Its about 2hours from Stephenville, and wed get to dyno and run the 1/8th. Or like ya said, maybe we can get them to come down there, if we had a place to do it.

Hmm, that would be good for the end of the next semester I'm thinking, have an April or a May dyno bash if we get them to come down here, or about any time to go to them.
Hey Randy, I figured out why the lights where aiming skyward, the bolt head I used to mount the plate is holding the lights up, nothing a countersunk head won't handle. I'm just wondering if they're too high right now (on top of my bumper). When I get home this weekend I'll make a way to mount them behind the holes in my bumper.
