I have a 97 2500 CTD that the previous owner kinda did a hack job on the trailer wiring.

I am looking for the connection for the 12+ for trailer charging. I can see the relay and fuse in the power dist. block, but where do I find the wire to run it back to the 7 way?

I think it is already ran back there for you..!?? I never had to run one for my "96" when I put the hitch on....

 

If the truck has the round rv plug by the hitch it is there. If the previous guy hatched it up look up underneath by the spare and take the loom apart and hopefully you will find it. Goodluck,,Rick

 

Anyone know the color of the wire, there is one large wire in the loom(14 g).
