I would only haul that much weight a very short distance doing all back roads. I would diffidently not do that much weight on my 2500 for more then acouple miles. Even if u had a dually i still think it would be over weight. Just my 2 cents.

Well as people have said over loaded is over loaded. I wouldnt risk it no matter what I would make. Now if you were going to be able to make good money at doing it I would step up to a larger trailer and then do it but then again even still that much weight on a SRW always makes me nervous I have seen a few people by me pulling trailers like mine (53' 3/4 car trailer) with a SRW so I mean obviously it can be done but the thing is how SAFE is it??!!

Back to the overloaded part if you have ANY kind of accident or get caught you could be facing some large fines and even worse if you are in an accident and cause a death theres manslaughter right there. There was an accident by me recently a Semi Trailer lost the whole wheel on the interstate rim and tire bounced over the median and smashed through the windshield of a car killing the man driving it guy says he didnt know it even happened for hours later, still not sure if him or the company will be held liable. He was a doctor and a feiend of mine worked with him. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21825226/

it is a 69 4wd 4020 with john deer factory cab with fluid filled rear tires and a new holland 650 net wrap i know the trailer is 7400 and my truck is 8140 i was judging the weight from my 580 case with a cab that i know is 15k and the tractor and bailer is alot more than the old case.

OK dont know anything about weight of the tractor or such but saw that you said your truck weighed 8140lbs am I reading that right?? So the 2 gen SRW are heavier than 3rd gen duallies? My truck with me in it weighs 7640lbs and here I thought that was heavy

I believe it... My truck an SRW with toolbox loaded, full tank of fuel, and me in it weighs in at 7860... ranch hands add a good bit of weight.... as do tires and wheels I'm sure...

My 4240 with cab 4x4 weighs right around 11 or 12k I think... Trying to remember...

EDIT: according to Tractordata my 4240 dry with out MFWD is 9700 so I would guess 11k is about right.... It lists a 4020 as 8865lbs...
