Wink New Truck and 5th Wheel

Just thought I would indicate information on my truck (see signature) and the additions I have made for feedback from DTR members. This forum has heavily influenced my decisions. I have read everything I could for the past 8 months. In four weeks my Yorkie, wife and I will begin a 4000 mile trip going as far east as West Virginia. ATS Diesel Performance in Arvada, Colorado just finished the work on my RE-48 transmission. I hope I have done the right things to have a reliable and safe tow vehicle. I will post my experience after the trip. Thanks to everyone for the valuable information. I am a 65 year old and this is my first diesel truck and 5th wheel. The Montana 5th Wheel has a GVWR of 14K.

Good luck on your trip. Looks like your setup right. Just keep an eye on your gauges when pulling the mountains. Just one 65 yr. old to another.
