I Purchased a 98 Quad Cab 12-Valve Truck and 5th Wheel Today

I just bought a one owner 1998 Dodge Cummins auto, quad cab, long bed, white, with 59K miles and a 12 valve engine. It seems to be perfect except for a few cosmetic flaws that I will fix.

I had to buy the 5th wheel to get the truck. It is a Hitchhiker 1996 31 foot with 2 slides and very clean.

I will keep this truck a while and compare it to mine and see which one I will sell. Don't ask to buy it now unless you want to pay a lot more than NADA says it is worth.

Let the envy and jealousy begin.

Daniel

Dan my vote would be to sell the 24 valve keep the 12 v but I'm partial to the 12 Valve. Did the pre owner say how it pulled the 5 ver?? with only that many miles should work out great for ya. Let us know\\

I did not expect envy from those that have one, but from those that are still looking. Looks like they are going to keep quiet.

I have never seen a quad cab in a 97 model year. After having the quad cab for several years, it would be hard to give up.

yeah, the 97 is the best bang for the buck out there IMO. best pump, no 53 block, best interior, hydroboost brakes, way cheaper than a 98

I will say that I've gotten really used to the quad cab doors though
