New brake controller? Tekonsha P3

Anyone tried one of these yet?

Tekonsha P3 - I might have to upgrade just for the "BLING" factor. It looks cool. Does anyone know the price for one?

I think I will keep mine. I paid 85 bucks for mine. That is stating to get close to brakesmart prices now. Hate to say but then I would rather have a brakesmart. I dont see any bling either

well at $400+ i wouldnt use alot of those features, theres been another one advertized on this site that hooks to your break lines on the truck that looked nice. im still sticking with my P3 though, and i got it for about $90 on ebay. id try there before you pay double

I have been running the original Prodigy for 3 years and in 4 trucks. A few months ago it started having an issue and I called them and was told to go to my local rv dealer and turn it in for a new one. I did with no hassles, so all though the p3 looks nice I really see no reason to upgrade.

I purchased a P3 to replace the Voyager that was in my 01 when I bought it. The Voyager didn't seem to be working at all . With the P3 set correctly, I can't even feel my toyhauler behind me when stopping. The truck feels a bit sluggish on acceleration, but that's because I almost forgot about the trailer in my rear view mirror. The Equal-i-zer hitch contributes to the 'forgot it was there' feeling too.

I like my P3 and my Equal-i-zer hitch.

Can anyone comment on how it compares to the Prodigy? It doesn't seem to have any more features, other than being able to change colors on the readout.
