Need something to move with

Hi all,
I am looking to move from California to Colorado and I am going to move myself. I was wondering where I could rent an enclosed 5th wheel I can move my stuff (4 bdroom house) with. How much should I be looking to pay?

Thanks

-Pete

Good luck. Nobody around here rents those. You may have to rent a truck unless you can find a friend who will let you use theirs......

If you can do it, look into buying one (used) and reselling it when you are done. I wouldn't even register it.

Good luck.

I have considered doing the same thing in the past, due to timing, it didnt work out right, so a moving company was hired to take care of the move. one benefit of buying a used trailer and reselling it, you can take as long as you need to unload it, as opposed to a rental truck or similar.

You could try to find an enclosed race car trailer and buy it for your move- then sell it afterwards. Those trailers are HUGE, especially the 36-40 foot ones, and could probably hold 3-4 rooms of furniture.
They generally aren't a 5th wheel type hitch, though, they are a gooseneck/ball type hitch.

There are 100's of trailers here: http://racingjunk.com/exec/ca/browse/50/?page=1

Some are used. You might get a bargain that you could resell.
