The thing is I have a gooseneck hitch and I need a tank that would clear hitch and trailer. I've seen a MegaCab just like mine with a hitch and it had a 98 gallon fuel tank. The only problem is the driver of the truck was not the owner and he didn't know what brand or where he bought the tank.

I've got a 40 gallon in mine and all I pull are goosenecks. It doesnt have the toolbox on it, its just a diamond plate tank. Im pretty sure that even with that tank you could still pull gooseneck. The tank sits in front of the wheel wells, and your hitch is close to the middle, so I don't see a problem.

Have the RDS tank, available from Northern. Mine is low profile for fiver, has a small tool box on top but is only 50 gallons. That gives me about 800 miles while towing and 1500 miles running solo. Don't think I need any more miles than that. Good quality and easy installation with their install kit. And, sure a better price than some other stuff you see.

I have a pic in my album if you want to see it.

You misunderstood - - there is a picture on this website in my photo gallery of the RDS tank installed in my truck. Go to Fiverbob.

aerotanks in corona california makes aluminized steel underbody tanks that replace the factory plastic tank. they offer a 60 gallon for the front and i added another 45 gallon back where the spare mounts. you can also retain the spare and have 75 gallons underbody and still have a full size bed to haul with. be carefull with aftermarket bed tanks most are NOT dot legal and do NOT have dot approved fuel shut off valves etc. aerotanks also makes the best steel or aluminum bed tanks. i have 105 gallon underbody systems in my 2007 dually and my 2007 quad cab srw and i plan to install another sytem in my 2008 megacab longbed in the very near future. call aero and talk to Kathleen or Jake and tell then "Juice man Fred" from seattle sent yah

Aerotank vs. Transfer Flow

Question for Jet City, aka. "Juice Man Fred" - Aerotank mounts to the "frame or crossmembers" and Transfer Flow uses brackets/straps. I have a 2004.5 3500 Dually Quadcab... I'm a little leary of drilling holes in the frame to mount...what do you think?

Hey, can you float me a loan. Gotta be loaded if you can afford their tanks. You can have an RDS tank in for 1/3 the money.
