Another idea would be to put a remote camera on the trailer. A lot of them have the capability of multiple cameras on one monitor. Put one camera on the far back corner and another on the right side blind spot and switch between the two as needed. I bought one from these guys http://www.rvcams.com/ and they were real helpfull. Has been on my truck for (2) years now no problems. Mine was around $350 and I use it to line up the truck when backing. It was the infared and can see pretty good even in the dark (real dark it's black & white). The depth perception takes a little getting use to but after a while it's pretty easy. Just a thought.

I know 2 cameras like Foxborough suggested would not cost as much but maybe I should bite the bullet and look for a 4X4 front end loader that I could also use for snow removal. The Landrover has 9 leafs in each front spring and 11 in each rear spring but I'm not sure how much weight the front hitch could hold. I use it somewhat like a tractor but there's no loader..

i would be careful using that front hitch when the trailer goes up the hill its going to rub the front of your car/truck. i lowered my gooseneck down and hooked it to my rear reciever when i forgot to bring my hitch, but i screwd up my rear bumper from the latch rubbing when i turned. why cant you mpve your fifth wheel?

Naaah, why waste money with a tractor. Get a skidsteer loader and you will never understand how you could have lived before without it, and buy a forklift attachment with it.
I just blew a hole into left fork, I can add a 2" ball on the fly and move ANY trailer I have/had around with 1/2" or less precision.

I made a 18 inch Rise hitch for the front of the farm truck.
Let me move gooses around easier on my friends ranch.
Just used 2x2 solid, added a few guessets and went along.
It was hell on the truck, but thats what farm trucks are for.

I have a waste dump and level parking pad at that location and the trailer door lines up with a patio door for loading/unloading, there is also a patio directly behind it so moving it further back is out of the question and it's not wide enough to park side by side. I'll try the Landrover first and hope I don't damage it. If I do It's tractor/loader/skidsteer time...

One of them is next on the list...Cat yellow turbo-charged with tracks... and I'll be keeping the forklift to load the 32'-33' tubing with

Watch the ones with tracks, they are neat and don't damage grass or others but they are almost worthless on ice/snow, besides the track replacement is much more expensive. But on the other side also they cannot get a flat.
Cat is good.

Foam filled tires + steel track kit is the way to go for ultimate mobility on a skid steer.
