I like these http://comboballrapidhitches.com/RapidProdInfo.html
I use the 5 3/4 drop for my stock truck and my brother has a 10" drop for his 2000 CTD w/ 5" lift and 325's. Works great, no problems and looks sweet also.

www.hitchesonline.com has an ajustable that drops to 11" and is good to 8000k for about $60.

FWIW, the $60 adjustable hitch on that website is not rated to 8000# as stated, but 6000#, according to Putnam, and costs $35 on www.truckperformance.com. I have this one.

Patrick - thanks for posting this - I like this one: http://www.truckperformance.com/prod...mber_PUT30062/
and it's the best price I've seen for one like it on the web so far. 8K capacity.

Believe it or not, I found a 10" drop at the local U-haul. When my fiance suggested we go in there to look for hitches, I rolled my eyes, but didn't say anything for fear of pissing her off. Lo and behold, they had one, for somewhere between $20-30 if I remember correctly.

Don't know if 9 will be enough (depends on hitch height) I know I have a 6 inch drop now for my wells cargo trailer, and am going to lift the rear 3 inchs and go to 35's (2 inchs) so that's 5 inches on top of 6 now, 11, so I would go with a 12 inch drop (trailer sits a bit high) It's hard to find drop hitches for trucks with that much lift. You can buy hitches for that, but there pricey

TAS, I noticed that you have a locking gas cap on your truck when I looked at your pictures. Do you know it if is true that they need a warrant to dip your tank if you have a locking cap? Someone told me that one time just wondering if you knew.

Oh yea, MUD, look up rapid hitch, they are all aluminum and are adjustable to 12inches I belive, also have 2 bals and are rated to around 14,000 pounds I believe. Ill try to find a link. They are a little pricey though, around $140.
